What a delightful addition to Alto! I had a Carmel Machiatto decaf and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was spot on, and the sandwich was totally yummy. The bacon was crispy, and the sandwich was hot! So many options, but the owner answered all my questions to help me make the perfect choice. There is even a play area for the kids!

This is a great spot for your morning. Just off the Highway and amazing food to go with it! Enjoy a peaceful morning brew and a spot for the little ones. The art, the food, the atmosphere, is something very special here. A must stop!

I just happened to find this gem. I showed up Saturday just in time for closing. Not a problem. They prepared me the BEST chicken salad croissant I have ever had! And I lived in Germany. I know excellent croissant.

Got a vanilla latte. It was Perfectly sweet and not too sugary like many places make the coffees. My daughter loved the hot cocoa with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Their breakfast sandwiches are made in-house and delicious! Loved the eclectic antiques and friendly staff. Hoping for a kid friendly table with crayons or something and maybe a juice option for my little ones. Very cute overall and I hope they do well here since there’s no cafés in this part of town. We’ll be back often!

Awesome little coffee shop this small town has been waiting for, great food,(cookies are freshly made) good prices, wonderful owners. Coffee was well made and food delicious. Great atmosphere, that's fun and inviting. I highly recommend supporting the wonderful couple that made this place possible, good people.

Stopped in here coincidentally with my sister and we had no idea we’d be met by such a fantastic experience. The owner was a delight, we felt like family. The coffee was very well prepared and I love that it’s sourced locally. The baked goods were fantastic, I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. The facilities were clean and I loved the colorful, eclectic and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be coming again!

Great place that's been so needed in Alto. Fun to meet up with old and new friends. Food is outstanding..homemade. We love the breakfast sandwich. They even accommodate the little ones. And they have gluten free items. The atmosphere is inviting and has a play area for the kids, and the owners are awesome. You'll feel right at home. It's worth driving a few miles for the experience!!

Visited Kindred Roots for an exclusive tea party this afternoon. The owner hosted with a sample of 5 different hot teas. It was absolutely delightful. The owner was so kind, so knowledgeable and considerate of her customer preferences. I would highly recommend stopping by to support this husband and wife team. They are killing it!
